Nautica Malibu Triathlon 2019

This is Sophia’s Buddies 5th year participating in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon. Over the past 5 years we have raised over $500,000.00 for Childhood Cancer Research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

This year we are honoring six angels and four warriors. Our angels are Sophia, Marisa, Hans, Nate, Malachi, and Samantha. Our warriors are Ethan, Aiden, Valentina, and Kelli. We have 100 participants that will complete a 1/2 mile ocean swim, 18 mile bike, and 4 mile run in honor of our angels and warriors.

City of Santa Paula Proclaims September Childhood Cancer Awarness Month

At the City Counsel meeting on September 4, 2019 Clint Garman, the Mayor of Santa Paula, will proclaim September Childhood Cancer Aware Month in the City of Santa Paula. This is the 6th year that the City of Santa Paula will help in the spread of awareness through their city’s proclamation. We are grateful for their continued support in the fight against childhood cancer.

Knot Standard Fundraiser

Sophia’s Buddies Foundation first fundraiser with Knot Standard.

Sophia’s Buddies Foundation has partnered with Knot Standard in the fight against childhood cancer. Knot Standard Hollywood is sponsoring a fundraiser to support Sophia’s Buddies on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Debbie Foreman, Sophia’s Buddies Awareness Ambassador, will be present with her Aventador Lamborghini, Batventador. 15% of all proceeds from the event will be donated to Sophia’s Buddies.
